When Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas found something so important to say that he spoke from the bench for the first time in 10 years yesterday, the Daily Mail responded with the headline “It Speaks” and there was hardly a fuss raised.
It. Thomas was literally described as a thing.
Then we come to transgender model Andreja Pejic, a natural born male who had his manhood surgically removed, went through the whole hormone therapy process and now models as a “woman.”
Breitbart News’ Kipp Jones wrote a story referring to Pejic as “he” instead of “she,” a rationally and scientifically sound conclusion, and the Huffington Post devoted one-third of its regular transgender column to Jones’ “gross misgendering” of Pejic.
